ARMENIAN PRESIDENT, COALITION DISCUSS ELECTION OF NEW OMBUDSMAN

President Robert Kocharyan today met members of the ruling coalition. According to the official source, the members of the coalition presented the developments in the parliament connected with the election of the new ombudsman.
It was decided that the coalition would call the parliament's extraordinary session on 17 February and back Armen Arutunyan's candidacy for the post.
The president also informed the coalition members about the results of the Paris talks.
